In-Balance Physiotherapy & Pilates has two fully qualified massage therapists available for appointments on most days. Clients can choose from 30, 45 or 60 minute appointments. Rebates are available with some private health funds using our HICAPS facilities. Additionally, Gift Vouchers are available for purchase at reception.

The Bowen Technique
This is a cross fibre muscle release technique that balances and stimulates energy flows, resulting in a deep sense of overall relaxation. Regular pauses are taken between a series of gentle moves which allow the body the required time to reset and heal itself.
There are various protocols originating from the teachings of Mr Tom Bowen, the founder of the Bowen Technique. The healing is not performed like traditional massage but is rather a non invasive muscle release technique that may have long term benefits so long as the injury or pain is not reaggravated. Bowen maneuvers may be used in conjunction with other forms of massage. Sessions may last between 30 minutes to an hour.
